Cape of Good Hope, South Africa.

Driving from Cape Town through Table Mountain National Park to reach the Cape of Good Hope was a stunning drive. We stopped for a fresh fish lunch in Hout Bay and stopped again at Boulders Beach to watch the African penguins. There’s a fee to get in close to the penguins and take photos, but we opted out. Imagine our luck when we discovered them hiding in the nearby bushes!

This particular day was picture perfect - breezy and warm, clear and sunny. We ate ice cream, hiked to Peak Point overlooking the Cape, got stopped by an ostrich crossing the road, watched the seals, and threw rocks in the water where the Southern and Atlantic oceans meet.
