Cape Town, South Africa.

We hit the halfway point of our trip in Cape Town. The best way to celebrate was with some love from home: our dear friend, Lorinda, joined us for nearly two weeks! One week we spent up the coast on Bloubergstrand, in awe of the kiteboarders, and another week on the east side of Table Mountain in the Claremont neighborhood in a place the boys dubbed, β€œParadise House,” with our own pool and game room.

There is so much to do in and around Cape Town, we had a list of excursions, activities, and sightseeing to do, but also made sure to rest and relax toghether. Mixing kayaking with dolphins, hiking Table Mountain, going on safari, drumming at an African dinner, and visiting Nelson Mandela’s prison cell with foosball, movies, Yahtzee, and swimming, we struck the perfect balance.
