India is the most
Varkala, India
India is the most. Of everything. On any possible spectrum, it pulses at both ends.
New and ancient. Smooth and rough. Fragrant and rank. Loose and tight. Generous and parasitic. Structured and chaotic. Pristine and putrid. Caring and dismissive. Sporty and spiritual. Colorful and drab. Static and electric. Nauseating and scrumptious. Colonized and oppressive.
On our trip so far, India is the country that smacked us in the face, then cradled us like a baby. Overwhelmed by Guwahati, Delhi, and Varanasi, soothed by Varkala Beach and the Indian Ocean.
Oh, India. You are truly unforgettable.
