Sea rings

Urenui, NZ

I’m wearing a seashell on my right pinky finger. The black expanse of a beach near here is where Three Sisters and the Elephant Rock formations are located. We also increased our shell ring collection exponentially. Coiled seashells erode in the middle section leaving finger-sized holes. The first shell like this we found was in Indonesia, then another yesterday on Ngaurari Beach near Raglan. Having found two was incredible luck, or so I thought. Today we found several dozen! The boys talked about selling them once we get home, for $5 apiece which, would be "a solid price,” Ari thought.
