The Quietsome Prague

The Charles Bridge is the most important connection between Prague Castle and  the city's old town. St. John of Nepomuk was thrown off the bridge in 1393 by King Wenceslas and drowned in the river, Vltava. One of the things I thought was interesting was, when I was there, that there were a lot of people who drew portraits of people to get money. My family and I got our portrait taken from a guy who, in my opinion, is better than Van Gogh. After that we found a band that was on the bridge, and my mom loved it. There was this one guy who had metal fingers and was tapping on the instrument that he was playing.

When we finished sitting there for 2 hours and got our portrait back we went to get some chimney cakes. Chimney cakes are ice cream in a doughnut with toppings and filling. I can't really remember the flavors we got but, I know for a fact that it was good.

We also went to a museum about the history of Prague, and It was pretty cool. The coolest thing in my opinion is Golem, Golem is a big rock monster that gets controlled by whoever puts a certain type of stone in its head. Another part I thought was interesting was the part about the Germans and the Soviet Union invading Prague.

On our way back to our Airbnb, we found this toy store where I got a pyramid rubix cube and solved it on the FIRST DAY! There was a John Lennon wall that lots of people drew stuff on, and not all of it was nice. Since we were close to Germany we got sausages at this little place and they were good.
