What I learned at the Museum of Civilizations

A mummy is a dead human or animal whose organs have been preserved intentional or accidental exposure to chemicals, very cold, very low humidity or lack of air, so that the recovered body does not decay further if kept in cool and dry conditions.

Bread is one of the most ancient foods.

 Ancient Egyptians called cake, ka'k.

Ancient Egyptians used to make tents made of mats, leather and thick linen cloth.

Ramses the second (a pharaoh) had a hundred sons and dozens of daughters.

The god "Shu" was depicted as a crouching lion that controls the boundaries of the universe.

The goddess Maat was one of the oldest deities whose appearance was confirmed in the ancient Egyptians texts since the fourth dynasty.

The pharaohs ruled in the 32nd century BC.

Of course there are more things that I learned but I think these are the most interesting. And we still have a lot more to do in Egypt.
