Bon Voyage!

We are off!  A 3 plane trip to Lima from Rapid City, SD. This followed a whirlwind final week of getting our house cleared, cleaned and ready for next year's dwellers, bypass heart surgery for Katie's Dad, my final day of work, and a road trip thru South Dakota to bid 'Until again!' to most of my family. 

I'm truly excited now. This trip is going to be a grand adventure!

And on plane 3, I chipped my tooth opening a bag with my bite.  Is this really the start of my trip??  Oh well.. we get to our hotel that evening and I find a nearby dentist I can walk to in the morning.  First morning in Lima: a breakfast, a short walk, a fixed tooth, cleaning and a cavity filled(on a Sunday)! If you ever find yourself in Lima in need of a dentist, I highly recommend Smiles Peru!

After that, we took a walk to the nearby coast and watched the hang gliders!
